We are currently seeking a highly motivated Construction EHS Specialist to join our team at the Miami Signature Bridge Project located in Miami, FL. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating, implementing, and monitoring all aspects of health, safety, and environmental processes at various project locations.
About the Job
This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team and contribute to the success of our projects. As a Construction EHS Specialist, your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive EHS assessments and recommending corrective measures to project management.
Providing training and education to company personnel on EHS requirements and recommending advancements to materials.
Assisting project management in coordinating subcontractor EHS protocols, vendor, and owner personnel working on company projects.
Accompanying injured employees to treatment and medical evaluation, ensuring all EHS protocols are followed.
Administering the Company's Drug-Free Workplace Policy and facilitating orientation of all project employees to EHS practices required by the Company.
About You
To be successful in this role, you should have a strong background in construction safety, preferably with a CHST certification. A High School Diploma or equivalent is required, and a Bachelor's degree or higher is preferred. You should also possess excellent leadership skills, be self-motivated, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Additionally, you should be willing to travel occasionally and stand, walk, sit, and climb stairs or ladders as needed.
