HEALTH CARE AIDE (HCA)

This position is for Casual Health Care Aide - Tuxedo Villa Home, located in Winnipeg, Manitoba.


What you’ll be doing

Support residents in participating in activities of daily living (e.g., dressing, bathing, toileting, personal grooming & mobility);

Provide emotional support and companionship to residents and families;

Ensure that care is provided according to the person’s wishes, preferences and care plan.


What you bring

Completed HCA certification;

Demonstrated compassion, accountability and respect;

Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English;

Ability to meet the physical and cognitive demands of the job (e.g. bending, lifting, walking, attention to detail, ability to multi-task).
