About the Role
We are looking for a flexible and enthusiastic Health Care Assistant for our Outpatients department. This is a Permanent position up to 0.5 FTE
Assist in delivering high-quality care to patients attending secondary care outpatient clinics, ensuring their comfort and addressing their needs effectively. Contribute to the well-being of our community by supporting patients through their outpatient care journey.
Supporting secondary care full onsite training is provided, and you will be supported by a team of skilled enrolled and registered nurses. There are also options for education and study days to increase your knowledge base as needed.
(Rosters will be 7 days a fortnight - Monday to Friday) Position supporting secondary care clinics based at the Tauranga Hospital.

About you
Recommended Skills:
Prior experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in outpatient or secondary care environments.
Strong commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centred care and maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.
