Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Data Analysis to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the selection/profiling, pre-processing, transformation, mining, interpretation, and evaluation of data elements crucial to client engagements. Your expertise will play a pivotal role in identifying opportunities and driving ROI within the healthcare delivery value chain.
Location: Bangalore / Hyderabad
Key Responsibilities:
Data Profiling and EDA
· Conduct initial profiling and discovery of data to assess quality, completeness, and suitability for analysis.
· Data Quality Assessment
· Data Structure Analysis
· Data Relationships – Well versed with SQL query. Working experience in Snowflake will be a great advantage.
· Value Distribution: Data profiling analyses the distribution of values within each data field or column. It helps in identifying patterns, outliers, and anomalies in the data distribution which can provide insights into data trends and potential data issues.
· Automated Exploratory data analysis tools or python libraries
Transformation:
· Execute various phases of data transformation based on the dataset and business logic requirements.
· Exposure to tools like dbt, Snowflake, Azure DF, Informatica
· Examples include but are not limited to:
o Care gaps analytics (identification and reporting)
o Clinical quality measures
o Population health cohort building and analysis.
o Revenue cycle metrics development and analysis
o Payer behaviour analysis and contract modelling
Visualisation:
· Experience with data visualisation tool like Power BI, Tableau or Quick Sight will be a big plus.
Data Mining:
· Utilize analytical methods and pre-built reporting environments/sandboxes to explore key combinations of attributes and metrics.
· Develop data models to mine data effectively, focusing on identifying relationships and patterns that drive ROI within the healthcare delivery value chain.
Interpretation / Evaluation:
· Collaborate with clients to interpret analysis results and evaluate opportunities for improvement.
· Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to guide strategic decision-making processes.
3. Healthcare domain knowledge:
· Experience conducting comprehensive analysis of healthcare data from various sources, including electronic health records (EHRs), claims data, and other relevant datasets.
- PCP (Primary Care Physician) attribution.
- EMPI (Enterprise Master Patient Index) management.
- Running groupers for data aggregation.
- Claims reconciliation to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
· Generate actionable insights and recommendations to enhance healthcare processes, cost-efficiency, and patient outcomes.
· Familiar to Claims data sets, RCM data set, Clinical data sets and life science data sets.
· Experience working with X12 formats (Files like 835, 837 etc) , Hands on with HL7, FHIR file formats.
· Develop and produce regular reports on key healthcare metrics, performance indicators, and trends.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in data science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience in data analysis, transformation, and interpretation within the healthcare industry.
- Proficiency in data mining techniques and tools, with a strong understanding of statistical analysis and machine learning algorithms.
- Experience working with healthcare-related datasets, including claims data, patient records, and healthcare delivery systems.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively present complex data analysis results to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as SQL, Python, or R for data analysis and manipulation.
