Job Description
We are recruiting for a greenfield project in GIDC Vapi having area 10,556 sq m for manufacturing Pharma Intermediates and APIs. Planned facilities include main intermediate production building, GMP facility and set-up for Catalytic Hydrogenation, with a strong focus on green chemistry and competitive innovation.
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Work on Safety permits required for execution of Greenfield projects.
• Supporting the Project Head in enforcing the site health and safety rules.
• Monitoring safety protocols & safety procedures and their compliance.
• Working with the site administration team to set up the filing system for compilation of site health and safety records.
• Providing health and safety supervision of all building work by the contractors from the commencement of construction until the day of practical completion.
• Ensuring that all works are carried out in accordance with the approved method statements and risk assessments.
• Reviewing the contractor method statements and risk assessments and advising the status to the Project Head.
• Producing a site health and safety induction in dual language for the project.
• Working with the contractors to ensure the health and safety induction was not carried out by Mace is to a standard acceptance to Mace.
• Ensuring the contractors are keeping the site in a clean and safe condition at all times.
• Attending regular meetings with the contractor in order to ensure health and safety elements are being communicated correctly to the workforce.
• Reviewing the contractor's health and safety plan and advising the status to Project Head.
Qualifications:
• A degree in any branch of engineering, technology, or Environmental science.
• Advance diploma in Industrial Safety
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
