Job Description
Promoting and supporting the identification of health & safety hazards, risks and risk controls in liaison with department managers/ supervisors and ensure the provision of relevant Safe Work Instructions
Coordinating the H&S Critical Risk Management Program to keep our senior leaders focused on being proactive
Coordinating the Site Safety Committee to ensure priority issues for team members are heard and resolved
Facilitating event investigations and closure of corrective actions
Delivery of induction to new team members
Creation and review of Safe Work Instructions
Assessing team members competency in skill based activities
Owning all external training coordination for site team members
Skills and Experiences:
About you:
You have experience in a similar role, including incident investigation & risk assessments, ideally within a manufacturing or similar blue collar industry
You may have tertiary qualifications in Work Health & Safety, or are keen to acquire
You're able to build rapport easily and can lead others with or without authority
You're highly organised and can manage multiple priorities comfortably
