Our mission is to support young people and staff within mental health services, particularly in residential care environments, through compassionate and innovative approaches.
Role Overview:
We are seeking a passionate Health and Wellbeing Coach to work with teenagers in residential mental health care homes. The ideal candidate will travel to various homes in Walsall, Coventry, and Nuneaton, conducting engaging sessions that promote healthy wellbeing through creative activities, with a strong emphasis on the healing power of music.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate wellbeing sessions that integrate music as a therapeutic tool to foster emotional expression and healing.
- Design and implement activities that use music to enhance self-awareness, reduce anxiety, and promote relaxation.
- Create a safe and supportive environment for teenagers to explore their emotional and mental health through musical engagement.
- Develop tailored music-based activities that align with the individual needs of residents, encouraging participation and creativity.
- Collaborate with staff in residential care environments to enhance the overall wellbeing programs and share insights on the benefits of musical healing.
- Promote our core values of Peace, Compassion, Honesty, Loyalty, Commitment, Self-Control, Patience, Respect, Faith, and Contentment.
Qualifications:
- Experience in health and wellbeing coaching or related fields.
- Strong background or passion for music, with knowledge of its therapeutic benefits.
- Ability to connect with teenagers in a compassionate and respectful manner.
- Knowledge of holistic health practices, including meditation and yoga, is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
