We now have opportunities available for Health Care Assistants who are enthusiastic and self-motivated to join our team in the busy Rua Ward, providing support to our Registered Nurses and working under direct supervision at all times when working with patients.
The successful applicant will have a positive manner, be able to work under direction, and contribute as part of a team in a very busy surgical environment.
Rua Ward, which opened in 2026, is dedicated to service innovation and development. This purpose-built facility focuses on providing residents of Waitematā with increased access to high-quality elective surgery.
Te Whatu Ora Waitematā is a dynamic and progressive organisation at the forefront of innovative healthcare delivery, working with some of New Zealand’s most culturally diverse populations.
Tōtara Haumaru, our new state-of-the-art facility, is located on the North Shore Hospital campus, with stunning views of the volcanically-formed Lake Pupuke. It’s just a stone’s throw from the world-famous Waitematā Harbour and some of the region’s most beautiful beaches.
