Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Manager - Scheduling, Risk, and Performance to join our team at the Department of Health Tasmania. As part of our Digital Health Transformation Program, this role will play a critical part in driving the success of our program.
About the Role
This position reports directly to the Senior Manager and is responsible for managing governance and policy activities for the program. The successful candidate will provide expert leadership, mentorship, and guidance to the Scheduling, Risk, and Performance Team and deliver specialist expertise and strategic advice to senior managers.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, including internal and external partners.
Provide high-level program and project governance coordination and advice to senior managers.
Identify and manage risks associated with the program and develop strategies to mitigate them.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Demonstrated experience in project management, including experience and understanding of quality assurance, risk management, resource management, reporting, governance, and common project documentation.
Proven leadership skills and capability in supporting a positive team culture.
Strong communication and liaison skills, both internal and external to the Department.
