About the Role
The Healthcare Professional - Patient Services will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and services in a fast-paced environment. This includes administering medications, assessing patient needs, and providing education and support to patients and caregivers.
Key Responsibilities
Administer medications in various settings, including patient homes and clinics
Assess and monitor patient conditions, as directed by program protocols
Document patient information accurately and efficiently
Provide patient and caregiver education on product monographs and program protocols
Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including case managers, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
Requirements
Current registration with the College of Nurses
1 year experience in IV initiation
Advanced knowledge of pharmaceutical distribution industry (asset)
Business and financial acumen (asset)
