The Department of Health, Tasmania is seeking a qualified medical practitioner to join our team as a Staff Specialist in Rehabilitation Medicine.
About the Role:
As a rehabilitation specialist consultant, you will participate in all aspects of medical care for patients across various settings, including acute inpatient, ambulatory and community rehabilitation services. You will also be involved in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, research, and quality improvement activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide expert medical care in rehabilitation medicine, including diagnosis, treatment, and care for patients at the Royal Hobart Hospital (RHH), Repatriation Centre, and other health services in Tasmania. Assist with patient management, participate in teaching programs, undertake research, and contribute to hospital committees and administrative matters.
