About the Position
We are seeking a Qualified Anaesthetic Technician to join our team at Waitaha. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for providing professional, technical, and clinical assistance to Anaesthetists. This includes safely administering anaesthesia to patients, anticipating problems, and ensuring exceptional patient care.
Role Requirements
Providing safe administration of anaesthesia to patients.
Anticipating problems and ensuring exceptional patient care.
Coordinating documentation to ensure the patient receives effective care.
Preferred Qualifications
A recognized qualification within New Zealand or international equivalent.
Registration with the Medical Sciences Council or eligibility to obtain.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Motivated to embrace challenges and change.
Competency with te ao Maori, tikanga, and te reo Maori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth.

Health New Zealand, Waitaha can provide reimbursement of Registration with MSCNZ and APC fees.
