About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Healthcare Support Specialist to join our team at the Department of Health, Tasmania. As an Administrative Officer in our Older Persons Mental Health Services (OPMHS), you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality mental health services.
Key Responsibilities:
Undertake high-level administrative functions for OPMHS, including supervision of administrative staff and coordination of administrative processes;
Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Older Persons Mental Health team;
Liaise with various personnel, including staff, clients, and outside organizations;
Input, retrieve, and update information using various computer software packages;
Produce reports utilizing a variety of software packages.

A strong background in administration and customer service;
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively;
Proficiency in computer software packages, including Microsoft Office;
A fixed-term, part-time position available, working up to 30.4 hours per fortnight.
