Skills
• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing electrical and hydraulic systems
• Experience with preventive maintenance on vehicles and equipment
• Familiarity with vehicle computer electronics systems
• Ability to estimate time and material costs for repairs
• Strong commitment to safety practices and compliance
Responsibilities
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on vehicles and equipment
• Diagnose issues with electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems
• Utilize vehicle computer electronics systems for diagnostics
• Conduct safety checks and maintain a clean, safe work area
• Complete required paperwork in fleet maintenance software
• Provide assistance to senior Mechanics on project work
Qualifications
• Two (2) years of relevant work experience in heavy truck and/or equipment maintenance
• Experience with electrical and hydraulic systems is desired
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Must be at least 18 years of age and legally eligible to work in the U.S.
