Description
We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for a Help Desk Analyst I. Based in Evanston, Illinois, this role involves providing technical support, troubleshooting applications, and managing ticketing systems within the IT industry.
Responsibilities:
Manage and troubleshoot Microsoft 365 applications ensuring optimal functionality.
Navigate and troubleshoot within the Azure cloud services environment.
Efficiently manage email-only ticketing system, ensuring timely response and resolution of issues.
Address technical issues for a diverse user base consisting of employees, contractors, and students.
Configure new equipment and set up applications for optimal functionality.
Troubleshoot connectivity issues leveraging basic networking knowledge.
Provide support for applications such as Microsoft Suite, 365 email, Zoom, and Ring Central.
Support faculty in classrooms, including audio/visual configuration when necessary.
Monitor organizational equipment to identify end-of-life items and replace or upgrade equipment when necessary.
Utilize ManageEngine or similar ticketing systems for incident tracking and resolution.
Requirements
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 is required
Familiarity with basic troubleshooting is necessary
Experience In Hardware Troubleshooting Is Essential
Knowledge of network troubleshooting is mandatory
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are needed
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment is crucial
Must have strong problem-solving abilities
Ability to work independently and in a team is required
Must have a customer-oriented mindset
Must be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies is necessary
Must have excellent attention to detail
Availability for shift work may be required
Relevant certifications would be an advantage.
