BrandSafway offers a competitive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance along with a generous 401k plan. Salary range for this position is $21.00/hourly. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide support to the insulators/Metal mechanics crew in the effectively communicate with crew members and supervision;
• Organize and maintain a insulation yard, including the unloading of Boxes after strip pipes or vessels;
• During insulation process assist in hazard recognition and site preparation, unload and stage materials as directed and pass material to a insulation crew, either from the ground or as part of a chain-line (daisy chain);
• During insulation process , pass material as part of a chain-line or receive material if not part of the chain-line and place into a rack for transport back to the insulation yard;
• Inspect scaffold components for damage and/or defects;
• Maintain a clean and organized jobsite free from any unnecessary hazards associated with the work being performed by a insulation crew;
• Perform general housekeeping and all assigned duties on a jobsite, as directed by supervision;
• Utilize insulation tools while insulation process as part of a crew
Qualifications:
•
(To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. These may be varied based on specific requirements of a branch or project)
• At least six months of insulation experience is preferred;
• Basic oral communication skills are required;
• High School Diploma, General Education Degree (GED), or equivalent;
• The ability to do basic math is desired;
