Job description
Bogdan’s Tree Services Inc. is looking for a Helper/Junior Arborist for
a full time/seasonal position starting immediately.
Helper/Junior Arborist worker responsibilities:
• Maintain a clean, organized worksite including post-job cleanup;
• Support and assist the arborist with securing line, rigging and equipment operation;
• Pruning, shaping and removal of trees/bushes;
• Climbing trees of all heights;
• Proper maintenance of all related equipment;
• Operate chainsaws, pruning equipment, leaf blowers, chippers, vehicles and other trade tools;
• Know and follow all applicable safety regulations and ISA best practices;
• Provide customers with a high level quality of service;
• Assist crew members with preparing work site and clean-up;
• Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
• Enrolment in or completion of ISA certification courses is an asset;
• Chainsaw Operator Certificate;
• Demonstrable chainsaw experience is an asset;
• Rigging knowledge would be an asset;
• Must provide PPE including hard hat, safety glasses, gloves and steel-toed work boots;
• Valid Standard First Aid;
• Class 5 driver's license, must provide a clear driver's abstract.

Job Types: Full-time;
Salary: $25.00-$35.00 per hour depending on qualifications and
experience.
