The Job includes the following responsibilities:
● Teaching English to Class 8,+ 10 following the CISCE Board curriculum.
● Basic Requirement:
o Needs to have the knowledge, competency and interest in teaching the subject.
o A Masters’ degree in English is preferred.
o Teaching experience in an ICSE school.
● Key focus areas-
o To create a learning environment for children that is joyous and rigorous.
o To be able to support, motivate and challenge students of all backgrounds and learning abilities.
o Be able to work with academic rigour, and build on the required skill sets that will enable students to approach the subject with confidence.
o Be willing to learn, work with and execute the whole language and other language learning requirements of the school.
▪ Able to research and adopt emerging language teaching skills.
▪ To be able to work on the LSRW skills in a comprehensive manner.
To enable children to go beyond the textual part through imagination, integration and creativity.
o Ensure all deliverables with reference to teaching/ instructions are adhered to.
▪ creating lesson plans that are grade appropriate and in consonance with the ICSE syllabus.
▪ Correction of notebooks and assessment related corrections.
▪ Setting the Question papers for all assessment related requirements.
o To be committed to one’s own personal and professional growth and learning.
