The Mentor College High School division is hiring for the following position:
Position: French
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
· Develops lesson plans in alignment with Ministry curriculum expectations and the principles outlined in Growing Success.
· Assesses students’ progress and provides feedback in a timely manner.
· Collaborates effectively with subject teachers and department heads to support student learning and departmental goals.
· Establishes clear expectations and creates a caring and effective teaching and learning environment.
· Supports student development through involvement in extracurricular programs.
· Maintains consistent communication with students and parents regarding academic progress and achievement.
· Leads by example. Inspires excellence.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor of Education degree
· Certification with the Ontario College of Teachers (OCT)
· Proven ability to implement diverse and effective teaching strategies
· Proficiency with Microsoft 365; experience using Microsoft Teams
