TITLE: High School Leadership Program Support
REPORTS TO: Manager, High School Leadership Program
LOCATION: Hybrid Remote and in-person in Washington, DC
DURATION: April May 2026
WORK HOURS: Up to 20 hours/week (Part-Time)
POSITION SUMMARY
ThePart-Time Program Supportrole will assist theNextGen Teamwith key logistical, administrative, and participant engagement tasks to ensure the successful planning and execution of the2026NextGen Latino Leadership Program. This individual will be responsible for managing participant documentation, maintaining confidentiality, assisting with communications, and supporting program logistics, including student transportation and onboarding.
This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain experience inprogram coordination, leadership development, and nonprofit operations. The position requiresup to 20 hours per weekfromApril to May 2026.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Participant Communication & Onboarding
Contact participants viaZoom, email, phone, or GroupMeto provide updates, answer questions, and ensure all required information is submitted.
Assist in onboarding processes by ensuring participants complete all necessary steps and forms before program participation.
Support with outreach and follow-up to students, families, and program stakeholders as needed.
Documentation & Data Management
Download, organize, and ensure all required participant forms and documents aregathered, submitted on time, and are legible.
Maintain strictconfidentialitywhen handling participant records and sensitive information.
UtilizeExcel and other data management toolsto create reports, track participant progress, and organize program data.
Program Logistics & Administrative Support
Assist theProgram Managerwith day-to-day duties, including event preparation and coordination.
Support logistical tasks related tostudent transportation, housing, scheduling, and program materials.
Assist in creatingnecessary reports, forms, and program documentsas needed.
Coordinate with vendors and program partners when necessary.
Perform other duties as assigned to support the NextGen team.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
Strongorganizational skillsand keenattention to detail.
Ability to handleconfidential informationwith professionalism and discretion.
Effectivecommunication skills(oral and written), with comfort usingZoom, email, and phonefor outreach.
Proficiency inMicrosoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)and ability to create reports and documents.
Dependable,proactive, and able to work independently.
Ability to work collaboratively withcolleagues across multiple departments/sub-teams, students, and external partners.
Preferred:
Experience working withhigh school or college programs.
Background ineducation, nonprofit administration, or student services.
Spanish language skills.
Previous experience handlingprogram logistics, outreach, or data management.
