Monday - Thursday 7 am - 1:30pm
3 Fridays of your choice a semester 9am - 12pm
Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a High School Mathematics Teacher, based in Phoenix, AZ. The teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging, standards-aligned mathematics instruction, with a focus on Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Geometry, College Algebra, and Pre Calc. Responsibilities include creating lesson plans, monitoring student progress, providing constructive feedback, fostering a positive learning environment, and collaborating with colleagues and parents to support student success. The teacher will also play an active role in the school community and contribute to the school’s broader mission of academic and athletic excellence.
Qualifications
• Strong proficiency in Mathematics.
• Experience in Lesson Planning for middle or high school students
• Effective Communication skills to interact with students, parents, and colleagues
• Experience working with Middle School and/or High School students
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Mathematics, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
• Teaching certification or licensure as required by the state of Arizona
• Ability to create an inclusive and engaging classroom environment for a diverse student body
• Passion for education and commitment to fostering academic and personal growth in students
