Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Interior Designer to provide design and documentation assistance to architects, designers, and developers. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating concept design packages, design development packages, construction documentation assistance, and FF&E selections & specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients to develop innovative interior design concepts for residential projects
- Provide comprehensive design development assistance, including 3D modeling, space planning, and material selection
- Produce detailed construction documentation, including drawings, specifications, and schedules
- Assist in the selection and specification of FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment) for projects
- Conduct site visits to ensure design implementation and resolve any design-related issues
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a related field
- Minimum of 7 to 10 years of experience in the interior design industry
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
- In-depth knowledge of design principles, materials, and finishes
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
