Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) Role
We are seeking a seasoned Oracle DBA to join our team and contribute to the design, implementation, and maintenance of mission-critical Oracle database systems.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and implement high-availability and disaster recovery strategies for Oracle databases.
• Monitor and manage database performance, scalability, and security in enterprise environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of Oracle database systems with other infrastructure components.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• 5+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA in large-scale infrastructure environments.
• Expertise in Oracle versions 12c and 19c.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard, and Grid Infrastructure.
• Proficiency in Linux/Unix environments and shell scripting.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes for incident, problem, and change management.
• Exposure to cloud-based Oracle environments (OCI, AWS RDS, or Azure DB).
Preferred Certifications:
• Oracle Certified Professional (OCP)
• Oracle Certified Expert (OCE) in RAC or Data Guard
• ITIL Foundation
Soft Skills:
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure.
• Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis abilities.
