Key Responsibilities:
• Collect, analyze, and report on cost accounting data, including standard cost reports, inventory levels, cost comparisons, product costing analysis, and variance tracking.
• Prepare budgeting reports by gathering information from various departments within the organization.
• Examine production costs to determine efficient methods of production and ensure accurate classification of expenses under Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Analyze manufacturing costs, prepare periodic reports comparing standard prices to actual production costs, and identify areas for cost reduction.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate budgeting and forecasting processes.
Requirements:
• Candidate must be a qualified Cost Accountant with a specialization in Costing & Accountancy.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in the Costing field or an equivalent role.
• Proficiency in accounting/Costing software and excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Unswerving critical, analytical, and interpretation capabilities, along with integrity and the ability to handle confidential information.
