Knotty Pine Cabins is looking for a responsible and conscientious individual with experience in residential carpentry and woodworking to construct cabin packages! The successful candidate(s) must have their own vehicle, willing to work out of town, having your own tools is an asset, and must be able to work with limited supervision. Individual must be okay with travelling and working out of town for extended periods of time. You will be working across Alberta and B.C.
Responsibilities:
-Framing floors
-Installing pre-framed exterior and interior walls
-Installing trusses & sheeting roofs
-Back framing
-Installing windows & doors
-Building decks
-Additional duties as required
Requirements:
-Proficient in using power tools
-Capable of working in a group setting with minimal supervision
-Willing to travel and work out of town
-Ability to work in various weather conditions
-Clean driver’s abstract
-Reliable vehicle
-Experience working with metal roofing/metal siding
-Experience in other aspects of construction considered an asset
Hourly rate to be determined based on experience.
