Job Title: Laboratory Technician
Location: Chicago, IL, Milwaukee, WI, Madison, WI
Duration: 6 to 12+ months
Start Date: November 2026
Shift Schedule: 8 to 12 hrs/day
Qualification
Education: Associate degree or certificate in medical laboratory technology.
Certifications: BLS, MLT
Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting preferred.
Experience with various laboratory techniques and procedures, including specimen collection, preparation, and analysis.
Responsibilities
• Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests and procedures accurately and efficiently.
• Collect, prepare, and process patient specimens, including blood, urine, and other bodily fluids.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring proper calibration and functionality.
• Analyze test results and document findings according to standard procedures and protocols.
• Follow safety guidelines and infection control practices to ensure a safe working environment.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all tests and procedures.
• Communicate test results and findings to physicians and other healthcare professionals.
