Canadian Flatbeds is a Canadian owned, customer oriented, family oriented, and one of the fastest growing transportation companies. We are currently seeking experienced and reliable Owner-Operators with a minimum of two years of AZ verifiable experience, to join our team. As an Owner-Operator, you will play crucial role in the transportation of rolltite and open flatbed loads to various destinations in the United States.

Job Responsibilities
• Transport Open Trailer & Rolltite loads from Canada to the US in east or mid-west
• Ensure the safe and timely delivery of goods.
• Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
• Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment
• Adhere to all safety regulations and traffic laws
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including logbooks, distance travelled, fuel consumption and delivery documentation
• Ensure cargo is secured properly in accordance with safety requirements and follow safety procedures for transporting dangerous goods

Requirements and Skills
• Two plus years of A-Z experience
• Valid CDL (commercial driver’s license) with clean driving record
• Own a reliable and well-maintained tractor (truck) equipped for open trailer transportation
• Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations
• Must be reliable, flexible, organized and a team player
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions on the road
