Job Summary
We are seeking motivated and reliable Independent Contractors to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials efficiently and safely. Ideal candidates will possess strong driving skills and have experience with various types of vehicles, including box trucks and forklifts. This position requires flexibility, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing excellent service.
Duties
Operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks and manual transmission vehicles, to transport goods to designated locations..
Follow designated routes for timely deliveries while adhering to safety regulations.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including any necessary documentation.
Ensure the vehicle is properly maintained and report any mechanical issues promptly.
Assist with moving items as needed during the delivery process.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
Experience
Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred.
Familiarity with route driving and navigating local areas efficiently.
Experience operating commercial vehicles, including box trucks and forklifts.
Knowledge of warehouse operations is a plus.
Ability to operate a pallet jack safely and effectively.
Strong driving record with a valid driver's license.
