The successful candidate will be based in both the girl’s school and the boy’s school. Both schools are in the London borough of Brent.
You will be teaching years 7-+ and will be encouraged to deliver extracurricular activities. Enthusiasm in the subject, overall teaching expertise and professionalism are vital so as to inspire the students’ thirst for learning. It is essential that the school’s Islamic ethos is kept in mind to ensure maintenance of the positive teaching and learning environment, all of which is guided by the ethical and moral teachings of the faith.
Qualifications:
• Graduate or Equivalent
• QTS
• Experience teaching KS3
Knowledge Understanding and Skills:
• Enthusiasm and extensive knowledge of subject
• Curriculum planning and management for your subject
• Student progress monitoring and assessment
• Evidence of outstanding professional results
• Evidence of exemplary teaching
• Confident performer in the classroom
• Classroom management and IT skills
• The ability to inspire and be a role model to pupils
• Organisation skills and sophisticated written skills
• Knowledge of a range of approaches to cater for different learner needs and ensure that all pupils are challenged and engaged.
