We are excited to be working alongside a secondary school based in Havering that is seeking a passionate and dedicated History/Humanities Teacher to join their school immediately. This is a full-time position,ideal for someone who is ready to inspire and engage students in the fascinating study of history.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality history lessons tailored to the secondary school curriculum.
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports student engagement and progress.
Assess and monitor student achievement, providing constructive feedback to ensure improvement.
Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to curriculum planning and school initiatives.
Maintain excellent classroom management and uphold school policies.
Requirements:
A degree in History or a related subject (teaching qualification preferred).
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is highly desirable.
Proven experience teaching history to secondary school students.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Must be available ASAP.
