Sr. Manager / Manager - Talent Acquisition

Primary Purpose : Enable the organization's growth strategy by ensuring that the right talent is available at right time using varied source pools like social media, job portals, competitor man-power mapping, colleges, as well as internal and external referrals. Also build and execute a talent attraction strategy using various employer branding interventions thus, to ensure that high-caliber talent is available to the organization on a perennial basis.

Key Accountabilities/Activities :

Recruitment cycle management (50%) :

Partner with department/function heads to get a clear view of their business, strategic objectives, and hiring needs

- Proactively analyze the previous year's hiring and attrition trends and ensure that a talent pipeline is created for reoccurring roles in the organization.

- Ensure availability of good quality talent within the required turnaround time using job-specific sourcing strategies through calling campaigns, email, job boards and any other available channels and technologies.

- Effectively map role requirement criteria, including primary and secondary key skills for all positions in the organization, and create associated documentation.

- Liaise with operational leaders and hiring managers to schedule interviews and ensure a positive stakeholder experience for hiring managers as well as for candidates during the entire interview process.

- Effectively collaborate with operational leaders to define and execute the selection process for each and every role in the organization

- Devise and carry out a targeted research strategy into the company's businesses, competitors, and marketplace

- Effectively support the management in niche skill hiring in the USA, UK, and Europe from time to time

- Build and lead the organization's campus connect program to ensure an adequate pool of freshers is available for engineering, aeronavigation freshers as well as interns.

- Effectively keep all stakeholders informed by periodic updates on candidates who are part of the recruitment funnel/process.

Onboarding Management (25%) :

- Ensure positive candidate experience during the pre-boarding and onboarding process and make necessary amends in such processes to make them better.

- Effectively transition the new joiner to HRBP post completion the induction program

- Effectively execute and manage new joiner induction for all new joiners in the organization globally

- Conceive and implement process improvements in the new joiner pre-boarding, onboarding and induction process to make the new joiner experience better

Recruitment Team Management (15%) :

- Hire seasoned recruiters as well as freshers for the recruitment team and extend sufficient domain knowledge to the recruiters enabling them to understand the business better

- Coach and mentor recruiters/freshers to target right candidates for current and future business niches of the organization

- Coach and mentor team members to enable them to deliver at their best capability

- Work with business leaders to ensure that recruiters are kept updated on the newer businesses as well as technologies that the organization is targeting

Employer Branding (10%) :

- Build and implement innovative employer branding strategies for the organization using but not limited to social media interventions, alumni connect, and industry academia connect

- Build and execute a framework that motivates employees to augment employer brand (e.g like employee stories, experiences on social media etc.) Thus, double the current rate of employee referrals

Qualification : Masters in human resources management as a full-time course from any college of repute. Exceptional part-time/distance learning candidates can also be considered.

Experience :

Essential : Manager Role: (Team Management) 10 to 12 Years of demonstrable Experience as Talent Acquisition Leader with an IT/ITeS organization with an annual hiring plan of 350+ resources across various business domains

- Prior experience as a Talent Acquisition Manager, or similar experience in an HR role

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

- Knowledge of human resources laws

- Knowledge of job posting sites and professional social media platforms such as LinkedIn

- Ability to multitask

- Knowledge of various interviewing methods
