The Compliance Support Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Compliance Support department and its staff, planning, organizing and developing all aspects necessary to ensure support of local market compliance with HOA and Municipality requirements. This position is responsible for training and supervising Compliance Support staff, obtaining, reviewing, and becoming the subject matter expert on HOA covenants in which we own property including ability to lease in the community, signage requirements, pet requirements, etc. The person in this position will communicate with local market Property Compliance team leaders to support ongoing compliance.

What You’ll Do

Accurately maintain accounting records for quarterly assessments, tenant registrations, fines/fees

Audit compliance tracking records and conduct regular statement reviews

Partner with IMG to ensure accurate record keeping for new acquisition homes and monitor homes sold

Hire, train and manage Compliance Support associates

Supervise the team’s work to research HOA statements and delinquency notices, and ensure discrepancies are addressed

Onboard and maintain HOAs and Municipalities as needed (W-9, vendor codes, contact info, etc.)

Oversee payments for Dues, Assessments, Fines and Fees

Provide reporting to assist with performance improvement

Support the local market teams

Who We’re Looking For

High School Diploma or equivalent is required

Minimum of four years’ property management or related experience

Direct experience working with HOAs preferred

Familiarity with of federal fair housing laws and any applicable local housing provisions

Proficiency in Yardi Voyager and Salesforce preferred; working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel

Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills; ability to relate to others and defuse situations involving angry or difficult people

Professional verbal and written communication skills; ability to effectively communicate with a diverse workforce

Strong organizational and time-management skills; ability to set, manage and consistently meet goals and deadlines

Must be proactive, self-directed, highly motivated and able to multi-task

Ability to read and comprehend financial statements and reports; ability to perform moderate mathematical and accounting functions

Ability to identify, analyze and resolve issues

Ability to be flexible and quickly adapt to changing business needs and processes

Ability to exercise independent judgment and maintain confidentiality

Ability to lead a team and successfully delegate

Salary Range
The salary range for this position is: $61,650.00 - $106,860.00, plus individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and applicable employment laws.
