Responsibilities
Personal Care Assistance: Assist with bathing, dressing, ambulation, and transfers
Companionship: Accompany clients to grocery store, doctor appointments, and pharmacy visits
Active Mobility Work: Assist with active and passive mobility work defined by the plan of care, and document observed changes to the Director of Nursing
Requirements
Licensure: Valid Florida HHA License in good standing
Education: High school diploma or GED
CPR Certification: Valid CPR Certificate
Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push, and pull; varied assistance required depending on client mobility; ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Communication Skills: Ability to speak Spanish preferred; maintain client confidentiality
Screening Requirements: Negative drug screen and motor vehicle background screening
