Home Health Aid Responsibilities:
Assist Clients with Personal Care and Hygiene
Provide Basic Healthcare Services, Including Vital Sign Monitoring and Medication Administration
Perform Light Housekeeping Tasks, Such as Meal Preparation
Arrange Transportation or Provide Transport as Needed
Gather Information on Client Conditions and Treatment Plans from Caregivers, Nurses, Doctors, and Family Members
Observe and Report on Client Conditions
Stay Current with Home Health Aide Training, Policies, and Procedures
Home Health Aid Requirements:
Previous Experience as a Home Health Aide Required
High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
Access to Reliable Transportation Necessary
Current CPR Certification (American Heart Association)
Criminal Background Check and References Required
Ability to Work Independently and Receive Direction
Excellent Personal Hygiene Expected
Respectful and Compassionate Bedside Manner Essential
