The Australian Homestay Network (AHN) is Australia's largest and leading homestay provider having been commended by the Australian Government for ensuring appropriate standards. We match local hosts with visiting international students to provide the highest quality homestay experience while they study in Australia.

Position Description: Homestay interviewer/inspector

AHN has an exciting opportunity as a homestay inspector to join our team to inspect homes and interview local host families to provide homestay for international students.

As one of our AHN Homestay representatives, your key responsibilities will include to:

visit local families and inspect homes in surrounding suburbs in Canberra
manage new homestay applications on the system, email and phone follow up for interview bookings.
complete inspection reports.
To be successful in this role you will require to:

be flexible in work time
have good computer skills.
own car and a current driver’s license.
be well-presented and have an outgoing personality.
have strong communication skills.
have eye for detail and can be a good judge of character.
have real estate/property management experience is desirable.
This is a casual role. Hours will vary depending on university/school intake periods and student arrivals. Mobile and laptop are inclusive of the package. Car kilometers reimbursed (log book to be maintained).
