About the opportunity
HealthShare NSW is seeking reliable Hospital Assistants (Linen & Waste) to support hospital operations in a 24-hour, customer-focused environment.
In this role, you’ll maintain linen supplies and manage waste services across patient and non-patient areas, following infection control, work health and safety, and manual handling procedures. You’ll use electronic systems to record information, communicate effectively with team members, and escalate issues such as maintenance concerns or incidents when required.
You’ll work independently and as part of a team, participate in quality improvement activities, and contribute to safe, accessible, and culturally appropriate services. Other duties may include driving hospital vehicles if appropriately licensed.

This is a NSW Health Category A position which requires immunisation and Tuberculosis (TB) screening. Refer to NSW Health OASV Policy (Page 1 for a complete list of required vaccines.
