Radiologic Technologist - Cardiac Cath Lab Travel Job in Houston, TX

Compensation
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2260 - $2430 Radiologic Technologist Job Details
• Location: Houston, TX 77004 (Texas healthcare jobs)
• Facility: Hospital - Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (South Tower, 1st & 2nd Floor)
• Assignment Type: Travel Radiologic Technologist Contract
• Start Date: November 17, 2025
• End Date: February 16, 2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Hours per Week: 40
• Shift: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM, 10-hour shifts
• Schedule: Every other weekend and 1 weekday on-call
• Dress Code: Royal Blue Scrubs Radiologic Technologist Qualifications
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist, with Cardiac Cath Lab experience preferred
• Current Texas State Radiologic Technologist License or eligibility (Texas Radiology jobs requirement)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Strong teamwork, communication, and clinical support skills
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced healthcare environment
• Experience with Siemens, GE, and Philips imaging equipment preferred
• Familiarity with EMR systems (Merge preferred) Radiologic Technologist Responsibilities
• Assist in diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, including structural heart cases and clinical trials
• Operate advanced imaging equipment (Siemens, GE, Philips) for cardiac interventions
• Collaborate with RNs and other healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care
• Maintain accurate patient records using Merge EMR system
• Float as needed to Interventional Radiology and Cath Lab Pre/Post areas
• Participate in on-call rotation (every other weekend and one weekday)
• Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and safety protocols
