Job Title: Accountant
Location: Kashipur, Uttarakhand
Job Overview: As an Accountant at [Your Hospitality Business Name], you will be responsible for overseeing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with local regulations. Your role will be integral in supporting our operations and providing financial insights to aid in decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
• Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow statement) on a monthly and annual basis.
• Accounts Payable and Receivable: Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts, monitoring variances and providing explanations as needed.
• Tax Compliance: Prepare and file tax returns (GST, TDS, etc.) accurately and on time, adhering to regulatory requirements.
• Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis, including profitability analysis, cost variance analysis, and financial performance metrics.
• Audit Support: Coordinate and assist in audits conducted by external auditors, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
• Cash Management: Monitor cash flow and oversee bank reconciliations to ensure sufficient funds are available for operational needs.
• Payroll Processing: Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll for employees, including deductions and compliance with statutory requirements.
• Internal Controls: Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity.
Requirements:
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Professional certification (e.g., CA, CPA, CMA) preferred.
• Experience: Proven experience as an Accountant in the hospitality sector or related industry, with knowledge of hospitality-specific financial practices (e.g., revenue recognition, cost of goods sold).
• Software Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks) and MS Office (especially Excel).
• Attention to Detail: Strong analytical skills and attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial reporting and compliance.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Ethical Standards: High ethical standards and integrity, maintaining confidentiality of financial information.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
