Job description, work day and responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled PBX Operator to join our front desk team at HALL Arts Hotel Dallas. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests through various communication channels.

The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with guests and colleagues alike. You will also possess a high level of adaptability, with the ability to respond to changing situations and priorities in a professional and courteous manner.

Responsibilities:

* Answer internal and external telephone calls, directing calls to the correct extension as needed
* Input wake up calls and messages into the system, retrieving messages as requested
* Coordinate communications within the hotel, including emergency procedures, alarms, life safety, natural disasters, and House car services

Requirements:

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with guests and colleagues
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing requests and managing multiple tasks simultaneously
* Proficient in computer software and hardware, with the ability to accurately input and retrieve information from the computer system
