About the Role

We have an opportunity for an experienced and delivery-focused payroll professional to join the ANZ HR team on a ~6-month contract. Review, document and standardise payroll processes, controls and calendars to support transition and future sustainability
Partner closely with the offshore Payroll Centre of Excellence, including:
Knowledge transfer and shadowing sessions
Development of handover documentation, SOPs and escalation guides
Supporting the offshore team through parallel runs and transition activities
Prepare internal and external payroll and HR reports, including leadership reporting and WGEA submissions
Implement and embed regional and group payroll processes, policies and controls
Support onboarding and offboarding activities, including payroll setup, inductions and HR exit processes
Respond to employee and line manager queries via direct interaction and ticketing systems
Ensure compliance with local legislation and alignment with global HR frameworks
Contribute to ad hoc payroll projects as required during the contract period
