Job Description
Salary planning activity is performed for benchmarking job pricing on an annual basis including compensation and benefits as part of Total Rewards Pay philosophy.
The incumbent in the role is required to Plan & Lead Salary planning activity for AMESA & APAC sectors, covering 20+ countries in these sectors. Key activities to include liasing between business across markets, preparation towards annual salary benchmarking participation, job classification & org data alignment, vendor engagement and survey participation, alignment to pay philosophy and working with multiple vendors for Compensation and Benefits to arrive at the right job pricing by calibration of data output, validating and negotiating, decision making and reasoning as applicable for each level in the organization diverse by market and functions e.g. Sales, Commercial, Corporate, IT, Hybrid roles etc for levels upto LG3. Sensitizing the business and TR on the approach taken, providing market insights for variations, understanding pay inflations, and ensure consistent and aligned salary planning.
Accountabilities:
Survey Participation
• Participate in all the salary surveys meetings.
• Populate PEP data basis the vendor template and process
• Review & Ensure accurate reflecting of individual comp data
• Submit the answers for the benefit and policies surveys basis the set up in each country
• Handle 1st level inquiries from vendors and escalate complex inquiries to BU TR as needed
Job Matching & Pricing
• Receive benchmark jobs from each BU/market
• Make sure all active myHR jobs are collate to benchmark jobs correspondence to survey vendor
• Follow sector guidelines on pricing prioritization in case of missing job matches
• Compelete market pricing template for BU TR leads review , based on which BU TR lead will work on modelers submissions
Analysis & Insights
• Collect and collate organization structure, job classifications, and provide it in prescribed format to Vendors for processing of data
• Communicate findings effectively to relevant business units of the company
• Evaluate data gaps, calibration questionnaire, inquiries from Vendor or Business on any gaps or inconsistencies
• Scope the issue then define, build and implement solution to measure price effectively.
Planning and Coordination:
• Calendarize and communicate the plan on Salary planning exercise across the sectors
• Kickoff meetings, status and progress of activities during the course of salary planning
Stakeholder & Vendor engagement activities
• Work with cross functional teams to define pricing for projected job components.
• Handle issues and concerns raised by BU/Sectors/TR Leads relating to pricing recommendation
Deliver global standard and process consistencies and improvement
• Identify, scope and execute strategic price process improvement projects across market for standardization or effectiveness and consistency
• Proactively communicate metrics and project objectives, status, barriers and results to all levels of the organization.
Key Skills:
• University degree or above
• Min. 5 years of Salary planning in a global environment, and a total of 6-8 years in HR / HR Operations / HR SSC domain preferably in Total rewards
• Experience of working across different countries would be preferable
• Compensation benchmarking experience using Hay / Mercer / Aon methodologies is highly preferred
• Market Salary Consulting Vendors engagement experience
• Strong analytical mindset, data mining and presentation to Senior management
• Excellent stakeholder management, and relationship building with exposure working with Senior Management in a global environment
• Proven ability to work with minimal supervision, ability to lead, decision making, influence and resoning skills
