HR Analytics - Analyst

The purpose of the HR function is to be an agile, connected and accountable partner to the business, enabling growth and performance. Our Global HR Centres of Excellence (CoE) sit right at the heart of driving this growth focusing on three distinctive areas to add real value to the business. The HR and People Analytics team is part of Diageo’s Digital & Technology function (Analytics and Insights) and is solely dedicated to the operational and strategic success of HR decision-making, through the provision of data, reporting, analytics and advisory support. To this end, we partner with our market and functional leadership teams, to develop their organisational plans and provide the insights that enable better organisational decisions.
The team exists to provide leaders with insights through data analysis and metrics tracking so we can maximise the value of our Human Capital investments. The team helps create a data-driven and evidence-based culture of decision-making, across the global HR function.
Demonstrating Analytics is a strategic priority for HR and is seen as a key enabler for the function. Our goal is to use data and analytics to help drive business performance and reduce risk by targeting high impact business issues in an informed manner. We are on a journey to build a top-quartile industry-leading team, with in-flight transformation activities and regular performance reporting/dashboards and a strong case for near-term growth.
Purpose of Role
Primarily Focused On
The purpose of this role is to collaborate in the planning and to carry out the execution/implementation of our HR Analytics multi-year strategy.
• Regular, predictable delivery of our HR dashboards (data collection, cleansing, interpretation and presentation)
• Delivery of all external reporting requirements (we play a lead role in the production of the Annual Reports, as well as external industry indices and regulatory requirements)
• Delivery of bespoke, customized reports and analyses, in response to ad hoc people-related queries
• Drive and support HR analytics projects, as well as other strategic programs
Top 5 Accountabilities
• Lead the timely & accurate delivery of monthly HR dashboards and all annual reporting requirements, within your remit
• Work with Global HR COEs to develop tailored reporting and analytics. Transforming their ability to measure and evaluate their impact, and to plan appropriate interventions.
• Identify and propose opportunities to further standardize, automate and improve our data management, reporting and systems. Development of new ways of working, new forms of data categorization, new ways to use all
