Title: HR Assistant

Department: Human Resources

Hours Required: Part-time (~25/hrs per week), Non-Exempt

Location: Hybrid (1-2 days per week in office) | Riverside, CA

Compensation: $22 - $25 per hour

The Job

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Provides general administrative support to the HR Department. Assists department in carrying out various human resources projects.
Aids in recruitment and onboarding of new talent for Jenson USA.
Supports time and attendance management for all hourly Jenson USA employees.
Develops, recommends, and coordinates activities, functions or programs designed to increase employee retention and satisfaction.
Maintains electronic employee files.
Completes and manages all HR related reporting requirements.
Ensures compliance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Other duties and special projects as the business needs require.
Preferred Qualifications

A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Human Resource, Business Administration, Psychology, Communications, or another related field. A degree in progress meets this requirement.
Strong interpersonal and writing skills.
Solid organizational and project management skills.
The ability to work under pressure.
Tech savvy skills including Excel, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint.
Results oriented with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks.
Demonstrated ability to facilitate group presentations.

Judgement – Exhibits sound judgement and the ability to make reasonable decisions in the absence of direction. Swiftly refers problems/issues to the appropriate person when necessary.
Initiative – Works effectively while asking for direction when needed.
