Fresh Prints is a New York based custom apparel startup. We find incredible students and give them the working capital, training, and support to build the business at their schools.
At Fresh Prints, one of our guiding principles is “Start and End with People". We take that very seriously. As an HR Associate you'll be the "go - to" person for our people and will work closely with them so that they have a wonderful experience at Fresh Prints.
We’re looking for an energetic, patient, and communicative professional. Someone who loves helping other people find their true career break. You need to be hands-on and have a finger on the pulse of every hiring manager and their requirements. You should be able to connect the dots and fill in positions in a minimum turn around time.
Key Responsibilities:
Onboarding for Candidates:
• Taking care of FAQs for candidates who are offered roles with Fresh Prints
• Induction checklist: Ensuring all login info is available before joining date
• Ensuring that they understand the policies we have
• Sending them the Employee Handbook and answering questions about policies/process
• Ensure that they are set up on Payroll with the external vendor
• Ensure that the hiring manager has spoken with the new starter a few days before joining date
• Checking if there is an Onboarding Plan from the Hiring Manager in place for the candidate
• Post Onboarding feedback survey and analysis
Offboarding Employees:
• Ensuring exit checklist and required information reaches External Payroll Vendor
• Resignation Acceptance Letter and Relieving letter issued within TAT
• Exit Interview and quarterly analysis
• Ref checks for ex-employees if required
Generalist Responsibilities:
• Owning the HR mailbox and responding to queries within TAT
• Updating info on Bamboo HR with information
• Responding to generic queries from employees
• Any other responsibilities including recruitment as and when necessary
Experience & Key Attributes:
• 2+ years working as a HR Generalist in a MNC, Global IT or ITES environment
• Freshers with an eagerness to learn are welcome to apply!
• Good understanding of HR Principles
• Analytical and process-oriented mindset
• Strong attention to detail and follow-up
• Ability to prioritize work
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
• Experience in a Start-up environment is a big plus
• Overall knowledge of Indian Employment Laws
