Roles & Responsibilities:
● Job analysis: Defining the nature and responsibilities of positions and the skills and knowledge necessary for them ● Recruitment and staffing: Attracting, interviewing and selecting the right candidates to meet an organization's needs ● Organization and utilization of the workforce: Designing an organizational framework that maximizes human resources and establishes systems of communication ● Maintenance of the workforce: Addressing health, safety and worker-management issues, including compliance with federal workplace laws ● Training and development: Evaluating workers' educational needs and designing programs to meet them ● Performance appraisal: Assessing employee job performance to provide feedback and use in determining promotions, salary increases and termination of employment ● Employee rewards: Designing programs to reward employees for accomplishments and motivate them to continue performing at a high level ● Diversity, equity and inclusion: Designing programs and procedures to ensure that all candidates, employees, and customers are treated fairly and without discrimination Additional Responsibilities Contribute to the development and growth of Pi Jam Foundation’s impact by providing your services and support for out-of-classroom programs, workshops, additional R&D activities for program/curriculum testing, the impact and analysis process, recruitment and performance appraisals and team-wide decision-making.
Required Qualifications: ● Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in any field. ● Demonstrated effectiveness in written and verbal communication ● Experience with creating a culture of engagement, collaboration, and teamwork ● Capable of compiling and analyzing data employment data to guide strategic planning. ● Knowledge of compensation strategy, performance management, employee relations, safety practices, and talent acquisition and the ability to apply this information in a manner that is compliant with relevant employment law.
Preferred Qualifications: ● Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Labour Relations, or Business ● Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and Human Resources Information System (HRIS), including PeopleSoft Contact: namrata.patel@thepijam.org
