Job Description
The role reports to HR Director and serves as a strategic advisor and coach to leadership teams while contributing actively to service delivery.
Roles and Responsibilities
Business partnering
• Collaborate with KONE Business Services Director and leadership team to understand business direction and translate them into people and communications priorities driving performance, retention and growth.
• Act as integral member of leadership team, contributing to discussions and decision-making.
• Ensure effective planning and delivery of annual HR and communications cycles, with a focus on impact and business outcomes.
Strategy development and deployment
• Provide local market insights to strategy development process.
• Drive execution of HR strategy in partnership with leadership team.
People operations
• Partner with People Operations team ensuring seamless execution of end-to-end employee lifecycle processes.
Employee engagement
• Lead employee engagement agenda, manage engagement survey and coach managers to drive action planning.
Culture, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion
• Lead local initiatives reinforcing KONE's culture and people strategy priorities.
Change management
• Support and champion transformation initiatives within KONE Business Services.
Communications
• Collaborate with Communications Center of Expertise to strengthen employer branding and internal communications.
Workforce planning
• Work with business leaders to forecast and plan workforce requirements aligned with business objectives.
• Drive succession planning, talent development/ management, talent rotation etc.
• Use people data and insights to guide decisions, improve team effectiveness, and support organizational design.
Organization development and capability building
• Advise on organizational changes, capability needs and restructuring efforts.
Employment lifecycle consultation
• Guide business on employment practices, policies and labor law compliance.
Health and wellbeing
• Collaborate with Performance & Reward CoE to advance health and wellbeing initiatives.
Professional requirements
• Broad HR experience in senior roles, ideally in global multinational organizations.
• Experience advising senior leaders and working cross-functionally in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
• Strong coaching skills with proven ability in talent development, organizational design, and employee relations.
• Excellent knowledge of employment laws and HR practices in India.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to use people data to inform decisions.
• Proficient in HRIS tools (Workday preferred) and comfortable working with multiple business systems.
• Soft skills - go-getter attitude, high energy to drive actions, positive outlook/mindset.
• Around 8 to 12 years of progressive HR experience, including direct business support.
• A post graduate degree in human resources is highly preferred.
• Excellent communication and relationship building skills across Global teams.
