Job Description

We’re seeking an HR Coordinator to join our team for a 14-month maternity leave coverage at our head office in Saint John, New Brunswick. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and fast-paced environment, supporting the diverse businesses within the JDI Construction & Equipment Division .

As an integral member of our HR team, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality HR services and driving initiatives that support employee engagement, operational efficiency, and organizational success.


Lead HR analytics and reporting for the specific business unit including metrics and scorecards, dashboard management and development and drive the adoption and use of HR technology (HRIS, employee engagement, recognition, learning platforms, etc.)
HR data management; audit and ensure data integrity of employee records across the division including training, benefits, education, attendance, onboarding tasks, performance management, manage discrepancy reporting, talent review documents, (foreign worker / work permit reporting) etc.
Work with the site HR business partners on various HR projects and initiatives
Assist with the administration of tracking training, performance evaluations and other administrative duties that arise, while continuously looking for ways to automate, standardize and/or improve these tasks
Coordinate administration and reporting of recognition and service awards, wellness reimbursements, engagement surveys and other HR activities

Post-secondary education degree preferably in Human Resources
1 to 2 years of relevant HR experience, with a strong preference for experience using HR technologies
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
A self-starter mindset with a strong sense of urgency and accountability
Analytical thinking and a curiosity for data and insights
Ability to manage time effectively and juggle multiple priorities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly learn new systems
A collaborative spirit and comfort working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
