Job Description
This position will be responsible for the total HR solutions for employees for the sector HQ functions across AMESA sector.
The role will be the key strategic partner with Sector Function Heads on the function priorities, organization design, change management, productivity, staffing, talent development and movement, people plans, onboarding, functional capability and team effectiveness. The role will also have accountability to execute/support the annual core people processes.
The role works in close partnership with global, BU and sector extended HR teams to ensure alignment in priorities and streamlined execution.
The HR Chief of Staff role will work closely with the AMESA CHRO and all members on the HR lead team – partnering to build the strategic agenda for the function, working with leadership to deliver, monitor and communicate progress towards goals, planning meetings and forums to build collaboration and engagement, sharing insights and recommendations on key opportunities and providing support and oversight on special projects and initiatives
Responsibilities
Strategic HR Advisor
• Acts as a catalyst for sustained business performance and ensures that HR strategies and plans are translated into concrete actions and tangible results
• Performs talent and organization diagnoses to align with and drive strategy. Prioritizes solutions that will deliver the most benefits
• Coaches business leaders and other senior team members
• Measures and tracks the quality of HR work by defining, prioritizing and measuring HR's contribution to business performance
• Monitors and maximizes staff effectiveness to business operations
• Calibrates with Core Services to ensure necessary services are being delivered and desired results are achieved
• Liaison for business informing COE design and deliverables in AOP cycle and any customized HR work based on unique business needs
• Identifies risks to the delivery of the business strategy and brings the right resources to the table to support it
• As a strategic business partner, create a short and long-term strategic plan w.r.t. HR strategic framework and AOP blueprint
• Provide thought leadership in areas of HR Research, Policies and Procedures in line with changing business needs
Chief of Staff
• Pivotal role in integrating information from across functions and sub-function to drive cohesion and a consolidated agenda
• Being a trusted thought partner to the AMESA CHRO: sharing broader perspective on needs and thinking through the strategic agenda, vision for the future while focusing on day-to-day execution
• Adding value to the team by aligning teams, leading forums, monitoring and communicating process, sharing insights and recommendations on key opportunities
• Partner on key strategic initiatives across the sector, as per the defined priorities Qualifications
• Post-Graduation in Human Resources
• Rich HR experience with an accomplished track record in a global, matrix environment
• Strong business acumen & people acumen, and ability to influence business and function leaders at an executive level
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
• Ability to build trust and relationships with multiple stakeholders and employee groups
• Ability to partner across HR to deliver effective business solutions
• Strong analytical and data interpretation skills with ability to apply quantitative analysis to HR outcomes to assess opportunity for continuous improvement
• Excellent communication, influence and wiring ability
• Ability to manage complex situations
• High integrity, strong sense of urgency, and execution excellence
