Human Resources Generalist
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Human Resources Generalist to join our team at Ashley Furniture Industries.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain data integrity in our system of record and supporting systems, including payroll and benefits.
• Track and develop reports for human resources management data, as requested by management or required by law.
• Assist with the maintenance of HR employee records systems, including copying, closing, purging, and archiving existing employee files.
• Provide administrative support for the hiring process, including maintaining the requisition system, I-+ verification, and scheduling interviews.
• Begin processing unemployment compensation requests and forward them to the appropriate department or return to the unemployment office.
• Assist with the maintenance and technical support of all Human Resources programs and systems.
• Complete various administrative tasks to support the HR Department, including data entry, employee verifications, business letters, mailings, and report generation.
• Generate reports from HRIS as needed or requested by management.
• Train new HR employees and others on HR systems and processes.
• Work on Visa processing for HR and legal departments.
• Support the Absence Management system and assist the Leave of Absence manager in processing data.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Proficiency in HRIS systems, payroll, and employment benefits.
• Working knowledge of Continuous Improvement Tools.
• Record management skills.
• Ability to work with diverse cultural and economic backgrounds.
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and Internet.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
