An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Human Resources Executive to join a thriving organisation based in Wythenshawe. This newly created position is perfect for someone who is passionate about supporting people and processes, and who thrives in a collaborative, detail-oriented environment. As the Human Resources Executive, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth delivery of HR services across the entire employee journey, from recruitment through to offboarding. The organisation offers a supportive and inclusive workplace with flexible working options, generous holiday entitlement including your birthday off, a company bonus scheme, and a strong commitment to professional development. If you are looking for a role where your organisational skills and people-first approach will be truly valued-and where you can help shape the future of HR within a growing business-this could be the perfect next step for you.

What you'll do:

As a Human Resources Executive based in Wythenshawe, you will become an integral part of the team responsible for delivering exceptional HR support throughout the business. Your day-to-day activities will involve collaborating closely with colleagues at all levels to coordinate recruitment efforts-from writing engaging job adverts to arranging interviews-and ensuring every new starter receives a warm welcome through structured on-boarding processes. You will take ownership of maintaining comprehensive employee records using both digital platforms like Bright HR and traditional filing systems. Your ability to handle sensitive information discreetly will be essential as you assist with payroll administration, benefits management, and confidential documentation related to flexible working or family leave.
• Support recruitment campaigns by preparing job descriptions, advertising vacancies, scheduling interviews, and participating in interview panels as needed to ensure a seamless hiring process.
• Coordinate all aspects of onboarding for new starters, including drafting offer letters, conducting background checks, preparing contracts, and organising induction schedules to foster positive first impressions.
• Maintain accurate employee records by setting up digital files, tracking probation periods, managing offboarding activities such as exit interviews and leaver documentation to ensure compliance and consistency.
• Assist with employee-related documentation for flexible working requests, maternity/paternity or adoption leave, and other life events while providing timely follow-up and support.
• Help organise internal training sessions and company events by managing diaries, sending communications, and ensuring all logistics are handled efficiently.

What you bring:

To excel as a Human Resources Executive in this organisation, you will bring proven experience from previous administrative positions within human resources or similar fields where precision was crucial. Your interpersonal skills will allow you to build rapport quickly with colleagues at all levels-whether supporting recruitment campaigns or guiding managers through policy changes. You should feel comfortable navigating both Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace tools daily while being open to learning new software like Bright HR if needed.
• Demonstrated experience in administrative roles within a human resources environment where attention to detail was paramount.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills that enable you to interact effectively with colleagues at all levels of the organisation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel), Google Workspace tools (Docs, Gmail), as well as familiarity with web-based HR platforms such as Bright HR (desirable but not essential).
• Ability to prioritise multiple tasks efficiently in a busy office setting while meeting competing deadlines without compromising quality or accuracy.
• A collaborative team player who brings a hands-on approach along with flexibility to support various areas of HR operations as required.
• Consistently maintains high standards of discretion, confidentiality, professionalism when handling sensitive information or complex situations.
• Comfortable engaging directly with employees across departments; approachable manner fosters trust and open communication.
• Solid understanding of UK employment law principles combined with practical knowledge of standard HR processes relevant to this role.
• Highly organised mindset capable of managing several priorities simultaneously while remaining calm under pressure during challenging periods.
• Positive attitude towards change; adaptable when learning new systems or procedures that improve efficiency or service delivery.
